Tokoeka Beak
NZ$450.00
Kiwi are omnivorous flightless birds that primarily feed on invertebrates and fruit that has fallen to the forest floor. Their long beaks help them probe for earth worms and other invertebrates living under the soil and leaf litter. Due to a technicality Kiwi are classified as having the smallest beak of any known bird. This is because bird beaks are measured from the nostrils to the tip of the beak, unlike most birds the nostrils on Kiwi are right at the tip to help them sniff out food.
